Kutaisi City & Imereti Region Paved roads throughout. Standard AWD or even a compact hybrid handles everything comfortably. The roads to Prometheus Cave (18 km) and Sataplia Nature Reserve (9 km) are paved.
Martvili Canyon & Okatse Canyon Both accessible by paved road. Martvili Canyon is 55 km from Kutaisi (about 1.5 hours). Okatse Canyon is nearby. Any AWD vehicle is ideal; hybrid models work well on these routes.
Kinchkha Waterfall Access Road Unpaved and rough in wet conditions. AWD recommended; 4×4 preferred after rainfall.
Mestia / Svaneti Road The road from Kutaisi to Mestia (approximately 240 km, 4–5 hours) includes mountain passes and sections that can be snow-covered from October to April. A 4×4 or X-Mode AWD is strongly recommended for this route, especially outside summer.
Borjomi (Samtskhe-Javakheti) Paved road, about 2.5 hours from Kutaisi. Any vehicle handles this comfortably.
