These terms apply to every booking made through carrentdeme.com. By completing a booking you accept them.
1. Who you are renting from

2. Who may drive
- The driver must be at least 23 years old and hold a driving licence issued at least 2 years ago.
- A valid passport or ID and the original driving licence must be presented at handover.
- Only the person who made the booking may drive the car. Giving the vehicle to a friend, family member or any other person is not permitted and voids the insurance.
- One additional driver can be registered free of charge if they are named on the agreement at handover and meet the same requirements.
3. Minimum rental period
- The minimum rental is 3 days.
- For pick-up and return in Batumi, Kutaisi or Zugdidi (including their airports) the minimum rental is 5 days.
- A started day counts as a full day.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown per day in euro and include full insurance and unlimited mileage.
- Longer rentals receive an automatic lower daily rate, shown at the time of booking.
- A 20% prepayment is taken online to confirm the booking. The remaining 80% is paid at handover.
- No security deposit is required.
- Fuel is not included. The car is supplied with a given fuel level and must be returned at the same level.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before pick-up: the 20% prepayment is refunded in full.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of pick-up: the prepayment is retained.
- No-show without notice: the prepayment is retained.
- If we cannot provide the booked vehicle, we will offer an equivalent or better car, or refund the prepayment in full.
- Early return does not entitle you to a refund of unused days.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 working days.

6. Insurance and what it does not cover
Full insurance (CASCO) is included in the price. It does not apply, and you become fully liable for all damage and repair costs as well as the rental cost for every repair day, where:
- the car is driven by anyone other than the registered driver;
- the driver is under the influence of alcohol or any narcotic substance — zero tolerance;
- the car is taken into a restricted area listed in section 7;
- the driver leaves the scene of an accident or moves the vehicle before the police and we have been informed;
- damage is caused deliberately or by gross negligence.
Tyres, wheels, the underside of the vehicle and the interior are not covered.
7. Where the car may not be driven
Driving to the following areas is strictly prohibited because of unsafe or unpaved roads:
- Tusheti
- Vashlovani Nature Reserve
- Juta
- All off-road routes
The vehicle may not leave Georgia except as agreed under section 8.
8. Crossing into Armenia
- Cross-border travel to Armenia must be arranged in advance and carries an additional fee of €60.
- A copy of the driver’s passport must be uploaded during booking so the cross-border documents can be prepared. See our Privacy Policy for how that copy is handled.
- Travel to any other country is not permitted.
9. Traffic fines and parking
- You are responsible for all traffic fines and parking charges incurred during your rental.
- Paid parking zones A, B and C in Tbilisi must be paid for before parking. Parking outside a permitted zone may result in the car being towed at your cost.
- Never cross the yellow bus-lane line — this is strictly enforced.
- Fines received after the rental ends will be passed on to you with the official documentation.
10. Accidents and breakdowns
- Stop immediately. Do not move the car. Do not leave the scene.
- Call us first on +995 598 70 58 58, then the police.
- Moving the vehicle or leaving the scene transfers full liability to you.
11. Delivery and collection
- Delivery within Tbilisi is free. Other cities have a fixed transfer fee shown during booking.
- If you are collecting the car outside an airport, you must provide the hotel or street address during booking.
- Please be available at the agreed time and place; waiting beyond 30 minutes may incur a charge.
12. Condition of the vehicle
At handover we inspect the car together and record any existing wear. The car is returned in the same condition, with the same fuel level. The car must not carry more passengers than the number of seat belts.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Disputes that cannot be settled between us will be heard by the competent courts of Tbilisi.
